KH Studio is an award-winning branding and graphic design studio based in Houston, Texas. We focus on building, positioning and altering our clients market place.

KH Studio provides a full suite of branding, marketing and advertising services. We pride ourselves in brand development and the ability to deliver brand products that capture the heart and sole of an organization and communicate it effectively to the desired audiences. Where we are different is in encompassing the whole spirit and life of an organization. We consider branding to be something that comes from within and is evident in everything the organization stands for.

Karl Heim

Karl Heim, originally hailing from Nebraska considers Texas his adopted home. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University’s College of Visual & Performing Arts, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design Communication. Karl began his career as an Art Director of a firm that specialized in non-profit marketing and advertising. He honed his talents working on branding and marketing for regional and national brands.

Karl combines an affinity for the fine arts with a real understanding for the advertising trade, resulting in arresting, affecting work honored by Print Magazine, national, regional and local Addy competitions, the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) and the Art Directors Club of Houston.

Karl served as the President of the Art Directors Club of Houston. Now happy in retirement from running the creative club of the city, he has since volunteered his time to sit on the panel of judges for several regional student competitions. Karl continues to volunteer his time to committees. He and his wife Julie have twin 4 year old daughters.

 

Katelyn English
Art Director

keng_2012Katelyn’s passion for mastering her craft is perfectlly balanced with her desire to collaborate and take ownership of KH Studio’s creative output. Katelyn is a graduate of Texas Christian University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design Communication. During her time at TCU Katelyn held the position of design editor for TCU’s magazine as well as the TCU graphic design club, Design Focus. An accomplished artist, Katelyn continues to pursue her love of fine art creating colorful and thought provoking oil paintings.

Katelyn’s work has been honored by regional and local Addy competitions and the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC).
